Great Show it was a surprize!
A welcome change was this concert of vaudeville, 1920's, 30's music, as my wife has been a Struggle Jennings fan back to the days when she played local jazz bars in the Milwaukee area. Expecting that genre of music, all of my sense of her was what we were. In stylize different forms of music, I had no idea the breadth of Struggle Jennings' ability. An amazing talent is she and knows how to work a crowd with her dry and witty humor. Without a break, she played for two hours. During the intermission while the band broke, she played and sang solo and played an "old" player piano, what a treat. Outstanding was her band and equal to Struggle Jennings' skill and talent. In a long time, it was one of the most enjoyable concerts I have been to. 3.5 hours we drove to see it and we would do it again. Thanks for a great evening, the only downfall having to walk back to the hotel in a warm downpour.
